Back from the wedding! Katie is married. For those that don't know Katie she is a long time college friend and also Griffin's godmother! And a terrific godmom she is :) It was a great weekend although it thoroughly exhausted me. I think I went into the trip tired so that didn't help much but then I did a lot of "helping" or as I like to think "paying my stay". ha. I was glad to do it and so happy to be around her during the festivities.

So, back at the grind and all is well. Lee leaves tomorrow for a 3 day trip to Duluth for work. Griffin is home with me tomorrow as Jennifer is taking her daughter up to Michigan I think....so, I'm sure my exhausted state won't be disappearing too soon. ha. I"m trying to get caught up at work and had a very productive day yesterday. I"m hoping to continue the trend and get a lot accomplished the entire week.

Pregnancy wise things are going well. I am feeling baby, mostly hiccups, several times per day which is nice. The left sided rib pain has reappeared from Griffin's pregnancy and I am zoning in on what is the cause. Maybe my bra, maybe my sleeping position, ??? All I know is it hurts and even massage isn't make it release. Uggggh!

We are also almost winning our battle of the yeast rash on Griffin. We have now combined lotrimin (OTC), A & D ointment, and plain yogurt on his diaper at every change. In addition he has a bath of oatmeal, baking soda and apple cider vinegar every night. He smells like an oatmeal cookie salad! lol. Lee thinks I'm nuts but the rash is going away and no doctor visit. Yahoo.

well, off to work work work.

So, yesterday was a much better day than saturday. I don't know what was up with my emotions/hormones on saturday but I just felt awful and bitchy. I think I adequately apologized to Lee-he seems to have forgiven me and we've made some plans to get together for budget discussion, marketing goals, etc. I think that will be really helpful for us to finally accomplish. In the meantime we have been working on cleaning up the house. It is actually starting to look organized which is sort of scary in a way :) The dirt still piles up but we have Liza every other week for that help and if we keep on top of the clutter, ie. everything has a place so freaking put it there, I think we can live in this house for a few more years easily. Less than a month now until G is in fulltime daycare and although I NEED to work hard before this 2nd kid gets here so FT is crucial to that scenario I know I'm going to miss that little bugger. I really am not going to see a lot of him. Maybe that will be good for my appreciation of my growing son, I hope so! We have really been having fun together although today after nap was a bit trying on my patience...maybe Griffin or maybe a friend that was over but I was reaching my boiling point quickly. Thankfully I did not and all was calmed.

I don't know why the bit of doubt is settling in again about this pregnancy. I heard the heartbeat not even a week ago but I haven't consistently felt the kiddo in there so now I"m doubting again....thankfully I have an appt. on wednesday with Colleen and Lee plans to attend. We'll hear the heartbeat again and then only a few more weeks of paranoia before I will be consistently feeling this little one move. I am hoping to get a date for our big US too on wednesday!

well, gotta go work on a patient. I'm here on a monday evening...I keep asking myself why? Oh well, I need the $35 I guess :)
